Continuing our series in Ephesians we move from the heights of praise and worship of Jesus in chapter 1 to the miserable condition of humanity at the beginning of chapter 2. Paul does this to emphasizes our need for grace and when we accept Christ we become alive by his grace and the richness of that life in contrast to what we had before. As we reflect on this grace we wont be able to help ourselves but be active agents in grace.

Knowing Him, Knowing Us. This week Tammy is looking at Ephesians 1:15-23 and what it means to ‘know'

As Jesus enters into Jerusalem on the last leg of his journey before the cross, he faces off against members of the Sanhedrin and delivers a unique parable intended just for them. Yet this is a parable the church today needs to take to heart, and avoid the temptation of seeking to dispense with the Son and replace him with self or something else. That will only lead to disaster. How will we respond when the Son comes around?

Jesus is questioned by the leaders on paying taxes. But Jesus sees through the insincerity and challenges the real issue at hand.
