Catching Wavs

When did it get so cold out? Also, when did tailgates start becoming more and more fun? These are the questions that I ponder when I realize that I am dancing more in hoodies and sweating. That said, this week’s podcast is going to be worth it. You know why? This is perhaps one of the biggest tracklists I have ever seen. We’ve been doing this for a year and a half now and there are 45 tracks with numerous mashups so does that count as even more? Who is to say?

That said, our good friend, DISABEL (you can check him out on Twitter, Instagram, and Soundcloud), has put together this wild ride of a mix. The man did a serious job and I have to applaud him majorly for this because you’re going to love it as much as myself. This is how you’ll find yourself heating up in the cold because this mix is fire.

Fall is completely underway. This weekend, Hurricane Matthew is smacking the hell out of the United States and I hope that everyone is safe and ok. If you’re reading this, you’re not near the hurricane or you’re safe and ok. The reason I mention this is my good friend, Mr. Slobby aka Slobbysaurusrex aka I Am Slob has created this week’s mix and he is in the hurricane zone. He said he will be listening to this mix if he is able to. You should too! No excuses.

Now that is stated and out there, this is a mix you need to check out. I didn’t know he could make a mix, but when I heard this, I was stunned. One, I learned he could mix. Two, this mix is absolutely dirty. You want the party mix of the fall? You got the party mix of the fall with this week’s podcast mix. HE did some work with this. Like I said last week, this is perfect for everything fall. I am so pumped for this. I know you will be too.

It is the first week of October. You know what that means? Football is in full effect. Fall is in full effect. Halloween is just 30 days away. Our friend Moshy has helped us with the transition into this fall season by creating what is one helluva great mix. I asked him personally to create something that people can party hard to and he took what I requested and ran with it. This mix is straight lit like a lantern. It is Saturday and this mix will go great for your parties and for your pregrames. Must have for tailgates too!

Moshy straight merked this mix. Before you even listen, check out Moshy on Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, and Instagram. Now that you follow him on all his socials, turn up your speakers and hit play cause it is going to get wild! Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. Author note: Sorry for being a day late. I thought I broke my pinky and had to get X-Rays. Turned out it was just a contusion which is great (I mean, it still sucks, but better than a broken finger).

It is not often when we get such a good much in a mix week after week. I am not talking about having a lit mix that will get your night going bonkers. I am talking about a mix that will question everything good in your life as this will take it to the next level. Our friend, Zen provided us this mix this week and it is something I could have never expected. It literally is spine tingling because the music he used is just way too good. I was debating on just keeping it for myself. I decided last moment to share with all of you because you had to experience this.

I am absolutely in love with this mix. Before you even listen, check him out on Twitter, Soundcloud, and Instagram. From there, take a seat. Get comfy. Press play. Be ready for your socks to blow right off in amazement. Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. We have something super special for you today! This is a mix that isn’t like any other we’ve had here on this podcast. Our good friend, Henry Smola has come and did something that hasn’t been done in the history of Onstage with the EDM Assassins. He has created an hour mix using his own music only. The only thing isn’t his is the Daft Punk vocals. This is beyond talented and impressive. So what you should do is follow him on Soundcloud, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

His music is so incredibly good and hearing it all together as a mix is mind blowing. Now, this isn’t one of those “lit” mixes, but there is some serious creativity here. Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. It is the first weekend of the fall semester. That means you’re back at school (or your job…cause seasons don’t matter to you anymore) and you’re ready to party. The oldheads are gone. You’re the top of the ladder. It is time to party like you only have a week left in school. Our friend, PURARI made us a mix that will have you feeling lit. Side note, when PURARI hit us up about this, I recognized his name but I wasn’t sure where I heard it from. You want to know something funny? It was only reading his bio that I realized that I saw him perform live and it took reading the bio for me to remember that. He performed at the Pool After Dark one night was I was pretty blacked out. That said, he does know how to throw a damn good set. That is what he did for you today! First, follow him on Soundcloud, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Now that is out of the way, this mix is lit. It is nuts. It is wild. It is made so when you listen, you’re going to go absolutely bonkers. You’re going to love this week’s mix. Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. Summer is over. It is September. This is the last week to enjoy the beach, the sun, and everything before football comes back. This is so frustrating because I enjoyed summer so much and I love the warmth. I partied hard. I partied a lot. Now, Entel (whom you can find on Facebook, Soundcloud, and Twitter) has created a mix for us to end the summer properly. This mix is absolutely fire and it makes me somewhat sad because I will miss summer. Good thing fall is full of tailgates and partying with sweatshirts. Nothing like outdoor drinking and good music. You’re going to love this week’s mix. Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. I am feeling really good about this week. It was a solid week and I am sure you killed it. Now it is the weekend. It is time to unwind. Maybe have a bit of fun. Perhaps get slightly reckless, but not too reckless. Gotta still be safe. That said, our very good friend, Boomslang X is entering us into the weekend with this week’s mix. The vibes, the energy, everything about this week’s mix is just so on point. I know it may still be noon (or perhaps later depending on when you’re reading this), but it is still a good time to throw up the volume a bit, take a breath, and dance the weekend away when listening to what he has provided. Fantastic tracklist. This is one of the best ways to wind down the summer. Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. We got ourselves an interesting podcast for you all this week. We decided to go within the family and get one of the people behind Illinois EDM Family to make us a down and dirty mix. Luisaö knows how to get dirty with his tracks and this mix will definitely keep you on your toes. This mix is the type of mix that you will shuffle and dance to all night long. If you’re not doing that, you’re most likely entranced by this mix as I was when I first listened to the track. Luisaö knows how to make great mixes. He was so excited making this that he couldn’t and wouldn’t stop reminding me how moist this will make you when you listen to it. You’re absolutely going to love this mix! Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. They also may get included in the weekly playlist as well as reviewed! Do yourself a favor and check it out and click the cover to download!
