Catching Wavs

Oh lord! I am so excited to post this week’s podcast. This one is from an artist that I like to call a friend. I’ve seen him perform in New York City and he straight kills it. Obviously, the next step was to bring it over to Onstage with the EDM Assassins. This week’s podcast was done by Modern Machines. What makes this mix so amazing is that he really put his all into it. I know he thinks this is one of his top mixes of all time. When an artist feels great about what they’ve done, we all benefit. There are plenty “vibes on vibes on vibes.” I know what I am playing as I go on my long road trips. You must check this one out. Check out Modern Machines on Soundcloud, Twitter (he’s hilarious), and Instagram. Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. This one was a little late. You know how artists can be. You give them a deadline and they’re late. Although, I rather have better late than never this week. We hit up our dude, ZBRA! Now, for those who don’t know ZBRA, the flyin Hawaiian is a wild man like no other. Little story for all of you: ZBRA and I happened to be on the same flight to Dancefestopia last year. He decided to turn our flight into a dance party and was DJing from his laptop for the whole plane. It was one big party. Tomorrow, ZBRA is performing in Dallas somewhere. This is why I asked him to make this podcast. Plus, I missed his stupid face. This mix will setup your Saturday night. I thought that last week was hard to top. ZBRA really made a run for best podcast to date. Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. They also may get included in the weekly playlist as well as reviewed! Do yourself a favor and check it out and click the cover to download!

This week, we have a special mix for you. It was actually really awkward setting it up because this artist doesn’t speak, but rather does charades. It was frustrating communicating with him, but the end result was very worth it. We got MIME to make us our mix for the week and he absolutely knocked this one out of the park. Not only did he do this fire mix that you’ll be wanting to play at your parties, but he also included four new tracks of his to share. He refused to say any names or artists nor did it help with the whole communication issue. For all we know, he just got lazy with the titles. We will never know! That said, this mix is so awesome. Easily one of the best to date that we have featured on this site. I know all of you are going to be dancing and going crazy for it! Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. They also may get included in the weekly playlist as well as reviewed! Do yourself a favor and check it out and click the cover to download!

This week was quite a long one. I don’t know why. Maybe it is because I had to spend 40 hours this week staring out the window and wondering why I couldn’t go to the beach. It is like CINÁDE hypnotized me or something as this mix was playing in my head as I was imagining myself on the beach. Now it is the weekend. Weekend means that I party harder than I worked. That means plenty of dancing, plenty of going crazy, plenty of just having good ol’ fun. That’s where this mix comes in. This mix is to celebrate Spring Awakening Music Festival. We’ll be there this week covering the festival. Everyone in Chicago is going to go wild. CINÁDE put together a mix to pregame the whole festival. I think you’ll be plenty ready after heading this. Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today. It is Memorial Day Weekend! The unofficial start of the summer. It is my favorite time of the year with the weather warming up and the beach calling our names. The partying lifestyle is absolutely ideal during this time. Nightclubs go bigger. Festival season is at full force starting this weekend. Everyone releases their inhibitions and just has fun. That’s the greatest part about Memorial Day. We use this time to appreciate our freedom thanks to the brave men and women who fought for this country especially those who have given their lives for everything.

We appreciate everything they have ever done and try to live life to the fullest in order to make their sacrifices worthwhile. CINÁDE really knows how to do it properly for this occasion. Don’t forget, if you want the chance to be included each week is to submit your tracks today.
