On this weeks podcast I am chatting about when dating becomes girlfriend / boyfriend and when you are in a relationship. I have a laugh at some of the relationship timelines that are on the internet, in reality I don't think that I have ever followed any of these.

This week I am chatting about the impact of silences in relationship and this is not just in a a personal relationship, but also with friends or work colleagues.
I give a few examples from my own personal experiences of good and not so good silences. Silence can be good and comfortable but it can also be unhealthy and used as a means to avoid difficult communications.

One this weeks podcast I am having a rant about social media influencers who encourage to feel that we are not enough as we are, that get us thinking that because we don't look like Cinderella or a supermodel that there is something wrong with us. If you walk around in the real world, women don't all look like that and we should be using real women of real sizes to influence the younger generation.
If you focus on your looks then the chances are that you are going to end up with a Narcissist who just values your looks and wants you as a trophy on your arm, like Trump, who to me is a 3 bagger and the lights out kind of guy.
Women we need to be stronger and be less about how we look, yes look attractive but lets stop all the surgery to try and carve us into some kind of fake Barbie doll.

On this weeks podcast I am chatting about why we should keep our friends when we are dating.
Why its important to spend weekends doing something with other friends.
Also red flag behaviours to stay away from if the person you are dating is not happy that you are going still spending time with your friends.

Most of us are on a tight budget with the increase in living costs, but going out and socialising is healthy and important for our mental health and wellbeing.
I was feeling the pinch myself this month after having to fork out for an unexpected flat tyre, so I thought that I would look at some inexpensive date ideas, so you can still go out and get to know someone without if breaking the bank.

In this weeks Podcast I delve straight into the Narcissist personality types both Grandiose and Vulnerable, I briefly touch on the crossover with stalkers. I have a loot at famous Historical Narcissists and give a couple of scenario's to help you decide if the person you are dating or chatting to and wanting to date might fit into these personality types.

On this weeks podcast I chat about sexing and the why you need to be careful and discuss this with your partner before you do it. In an ever increasing AI world it is really easy to have something made and published that is not real so just be aware of who you are sharing intimate photos with.
Sexting can be useful for teenagers and long distance relationships but you must set boundaries and communicate when things should be deleted in advance.

Happy Valentines Day everyone, I hope that you all have a lovely day.
On todays podcast I am chatting about healthy love. Asking what is healthy love in a relationships, signs of unhealthy love and what to do if you are in a relationship where you are not getting what you need. Also why selflove and self care is really important.
Feeling loved, wanted and needed is a basic human need, its not something that you can get from social media. You get attention from these things, but its not enough and leaves you wanting and needing more attention because you are not getting what you actually need which is healthy love.

I messaged my dating Buddy and said its my third date. The reply ohh its the third date rule, I replied what is that...
I look into the third date rule and question why it is a thing?
It you have had two dates 6 hours each, that's less time than you would spend with your work colleagues on your first day at work, 7.5 hours average and you hardly know them, so why would spending only 6 hours with someone mean its ok to sleep with someone.
If a guy is really invested in you he will wait until you are ready and you have some kind of connection which can't really be formed in just 6 hours.
If he is willing to wait then he is clearly dating you because he likes you and will be willing to wait.
Don't sleep with a guy after the third date, just because you think you should, or you think its expected to, or that he is not going to like you, if you don't, if he really likes you he will wait.

On this weeks podcast I chat about why its a really good idea to get a dating buddy who you can chat to about guys profiles, where you should meet, what things are concerning you, check their behaviour.
Chat about how you feel about someone and chat about well generally anything. It also means you will be less likely to message the new man in your life as much which will give him the space that he needs.

I have lived a full life, been married, divorced, travelled with others and alone, been to concerts and festivals alone. I have run a marathon, owned and run my own small holding and separate dog walking business, I ride horses and currently own a rare breed Fell pony called Merlin. I have taken part in dressage, show jumping, cross country and long distance rides. I have been on a South African Wildlife Safari, riding horses amongst zebras and giraffe. I have worked for a Royal College, a Castle on a small country estate, in book production and publishing, for Italian and Chinese companies.
I started my podcast to help me survive divorce, it has taken me on an incredible journey and I have pushed myself out of my comfort zone, doing activities the stories of which are available for you to listen to. I have met some incredible individuals along the way, real people who have overcome lots of different life challenges.
I have found myself having coffee with Paula Radcliff in Manchester, I have met Chris Evans, been interviewed by him on Virgin Radio, I have met the inspirational Richard Branson, sat next to the lovely Jake Quickendon at a charity event and asked him if he was on Instagram. I have worked on my self development, physical fitness and mental health, having suffered from social anxiety and had a massive lack of self confidence and I talk about this in my podcasts. By pushing myself to do all the things I talk about in my podcast, I have built up resilience. I am now mentally strong enough to date and my podcasts are currently on this topic. There are interviews with some truly inspiring real people to have a listen to, real life role models, who have overcome real life situations which you can listen to for advice and encouragement to help you through life.
Oh and I am James Blunts girl from the subway and it's not just the one song! I didn't want to be famous or judged for not being as beautiful as people imagined me to be, as I look in the mirror and don't see it, true beaty is within you. I also don't want to be known as that woman that the song is as about. I am my own person and its important that I have my own identity.
