Members of the Cape Breton arts community are ready to take the lead in the creation and administration of a three-year pilot-project that will provide grants to artists across the CBRM. A group of artists have made a presentation to Cape Breton Regional Council to have a fund for 50 artists every year. This funding will also allow artists to get funding at the Provincial level.
