In this episode, I (Henriette Einevoll Husby aka Businesshenriette) speak with Cecilie Lind which is the Founder of The Protein Kitchen. This is Denmarks fastest growing foodproducing company. Together with Morten Storgaard they founded The Protein Kitchen in 2014. Back then, they started by selling recipe books, and now they serve salads, bars and shakes all over Denmark with large retailers like Netto, 7/11 and Meny. Right before corona hit, they were just about to launch their products in the US, but corona shut them down. They have won multiple prices by 7/11 as the best innovators in 2018 and 2019. They also reached a turnover of 15 million danish kroner in 2021 and is expecting to 20 million in 2022.
Cecilie has been described as a superhero girl, strong and a fighter. Unfortunatley, she lost her mother to cancer when she was 22 years which triggered her to quit her regular job and then she really went on to fulfilling her dreams. She wants to leave a mark on this world by serving healthy food on-the-go. She’s also a personal trainer and have won prestigious prices in nordic body fitness championships. She has a positive mindset and I do dig a bit deeper into her journey and how she made her dreams come true!
