What's been lost, this Pandemic has been increasing since January 2020.  One word to sum up the Pandemic is loss. Loss of freedom, loss of jobs, or careers, loss of human contact, loss of hugs, and loss of loved ones.  How we cope with loss has not been easy this past year.  Each culture or religion has different ways to cope with loss which has really put a wrench in the "normal ways" of both death, and celebrating loss. Which will come back to bite us in the a*s in year's to come!  And of course there are different losses.

AMANDA,  a certified Emotional Wellness Counselor, EFT practitioner and speaker that focuses on emotional awareness and mastery, grief and loss, and radical self-chronic and mental illness and strives to be an ally, advocate, and accomplice, working to a create a world more accessible, just equitable and compassionate for all! Our Podcast interview with Victoria Volk this week was very informative and interesting to discover things about yourself and others as well.  We discussed all of the many types of grief that you could experience.  Grief is not only for a personal person loss but it also cover many other losses as well.  The loss of a pet, the loss of a job, the loss of a partner, not the actual physical absence of a person but their presence, divorce, the loss of a child, the loss of a limb, or the loss that you are unable to have a child perhaps.

Wendy Jenkins from Australia, tells us what it's like to go through the stages of transplants. You may think it's not a difficult journey but it really isn't!!

A lung transplant is a surgical procedure to replace a diseased or failing lung with a healthy lung, usually from a deceased donor. A lung transplant is reserved for people who have tried other medications or treatments, but their conditions haven't sufficiently improved.
