Well this is probably one of the most difficult traumas to overcome because it keeps coming back to haunt you.  As hard as it is to forget the past, it keeps coming back to remind you of your past!! How crazy is that?  You hear a commercial, reminds you. You hear the computer turn on, it reminds you. You watch a TV show, it reminds you. You watch a movie, it reminds you. You smell something, it reminds you.  You make that favourite recipe that you love, it reminds you. You hear their voice, it reminds you. You wash your dishes, it reminds you. You wash your floor, it reminds you!

Just when you think that it’s easy smeezy, it ain’t! Is that even a word? But, definitely whenever you go under the knife, should you worry about being prepared for the “Just in case” or the “What if”?

Routine surgery is just one of those things in life where we think, ok I need to remember to be at my appointment a few minutes before, I have to shower, and not bring any valuables with me. Is that it? Should I be worried? Well, I guess part of me, says we should be in a positive mindset and maybe a few people even say a few prayers beforehand. But, should we be worried about our health, what that will look like afterwards. Will everything work out, will the surgeons see anything that shouldn’t be there, will there be any complications, any difficulties with breathing, or bleeding? Does anyone else think of these things down deep inside even for the most simplest of surgeries? Let’s see.

This Real Life Story from Real Life people this week on our Podcast is very enlightening due to the fact that the most routine surgery that Shannon, our Guest Interview, went in for at the onset of Covid 19, was painful and enlightening. Re-financing, refers to the process of revising and replacing the terms of an existing contract or agreement, such as a loan or a mortgage. When you decide to refinance a current or existing mortgage , you are really searching to make some favorable changes to the details of the mortgage such as the payment schedule, the interest rate, or any terms of the contract. You may want to review term, which is when the mortgage will be up for renewal. Or you may want to review the amortization period which is the length of time that the loan amount is amortized, or calculated I guess you could say. So a 10 year amortization period would be more expensive per month in premiums than say 25 -35 year amortization period. Why, because the loan will be paid off in full in that amortization period. So, the less time you have to pay it off is more in premiums. The more time, as 25 years would be less in premiums.
