Russell spoke with Phoenix Suns color commentator about the Suns chances of landing the Minnesota power forward. Keep on truckin’. Rich Conte and “Stats” Adam Lowenstein host another packed edition of Celtics Beat.

The Boston Celtics may be sitting at home, but some familiar faces are not. Doc Rivers’ Los Angeles Clippers are in a battle with Kevin Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder. And Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are in yet another playoff matchup with LeBron James and the Miami Heat.

Nick Gelso had a chance to talk with Brooklyn Nets radio color commentator for Coach Tim Capstraw earlier in the day. Of course Nick talked to Coach Tim about Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett. What are their futures in not just Brooklyn, but the NBA? And would this season qualify as a failure if Brooklyn fails to advance past the second round of the postseason? Those draft choices that the Nets have to send over to Boston sure could look pretty.
