The Boston Celtics get ready for a tough stretch of schedule and will have to do so without Marcus Morris. Marcus has had a bad knee and he will need time in order for it to heal. The Celtics will receive a small boost when Kyrie Irving will come back from his one game absence, but Al Horford is listed as out for rest before Wednesday's game. The Ball brothers will move to Lithuania and start their professional basketball careers.

The Celtics avenged one of their few losses this season Sunday afternoon with an impressive defensive performance. Boston nearly held Andre Drummond scoreless and snuffed out the Pistons' entire offense in a 91-81 victory on its first visit to the new Little Caesar's Arena. Al Horford scored 19 points to lead the way for Boston.
After returning to the court against the Spurs Thursday following a one game absence, Marcus Morris has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Pistons, as well as Monday night's game in Chicago with his lingering knee injury. Jaylen Brown will play again today as he continues to deal with inflammation in his eye, and Aron Baynes will suit up as well after leaving Thursday's game after taking a knee to his stomach. On the back burner, Gordon Hayward continues to progress in the rehab for his ankle injury, as he was able to get rid of his crutches last week, and should be completely out of his walking boot in the next week or two.
The Celtics went into tonights game on a four-game win streak, but were unable to extend it. Kyrie Irving led the way for Boston for the entirety of this game with 36 points, but it wasn't enough to beat the Spurs. Two huge Manu Ginobili three pointers at the end of the second and fourth quarters were the difference in this one.
