The NBA Class of 2017 had their day in the sun Friday at the NBA Rookie Photo Shoot with Panini America. Jayson Tatum, Semi Ojeleye and Ante Zizic were among the young players present and wearing their official jerseys for the first time. The Celtics also inked another rookie, Jabari Bird to a two-way contract.

The NBA released a few schedule snippets, including Week 1's nationally-televised slate and the Christmas Day broadcast schedule. The Boston Celtics open their 2017-18 season at the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The Celtics also will take on the Washington Wizards on Dec. 25 at TD Garden.
According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN on Coach Nick's BBall Breakdown on the CLNS Media Network, Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving was not getting along with his teammates during their 2017 postseason run. Also, the Celtics are set to play Philadelphia in London in January.
According to a team release and a story in the Evening Standard, the Boston Celtics will travel to the Great Britain on Jan. 11 to play against the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA's annual London game.
