After having their win streak snapped at four games by the OKC Thunder, the Boston Celtics try to get back on recent hot streak at the New York Knicks on Christmas Day.

Russell Westbrook’s 45 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists propelled the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 117-112 victory over the Boston Celtics Friday night at the TD Garden.

Westbrook was simply amazing – completely carrying a Thunder team that has had an atrocious -11.4 net rating with Westbrook on the bench this season.

Westbrook – who now has three-straight games under his belt with 40 or more points – scored 18 of his 45 points in the final frame, including back-to-back three-pointers with Celtics defenders in his face. The Celtics – who were more than glad to allow the career 30 percent three-point Westbrook bomb away from deep – were disappointed with the results, as Westbrook ended the night 5-7 from distance.
