Supplement teaching for the ninth lesson in the discipleship book, Foundations.

Intentionally glorify God with your time. Time is a gift from God that we are called to steward well for His glory. We must embrace the time God gives us and purposefully use the time we are given. Every moment is a gift and must glorify God.

Glorify God for God is glorious. We were created to glorify God and we were saved for His glory. Our lives must draw attention to and exalt the greatness and goodness of God. This sermon lays the foundation for a practical look at how the whole of our lives must glorify God.

Live in faith-empowered hope. God’s people live as exiles in this godless world. But they are not without hope. God has promised reward for faithfulness and a sure future for His people. Believers can live in joyful anticipation while serving the Lord now.

Live in faithful integrity. Integrity is to do the right thing before God no matter what. This faithfulness to the Lord will be seen through purposeful and persistent prayer and service. Daniel illustrates this faithfulness for us to follow.

Live blameless before God and man. Daniel is an example for us of blameless living. He honored the authority over him while being uncompromising in his faith. We must honor all but obey God supremely.
