Message for 06.28.20 | Joy is less about what happens, and more about your habits. That’s why the Bible encourages us to dwell on the good rather than on the bad. When you fix your thoughts on the good things Jesus has done and is doing, your thoughts begin to fix your attitude. And a better attitude gives you a better life.
Message for 06.21.20 | We often get our sense of worth from other people. When we are praised, our value goes up; when we are ignore or criticized, our value goes down. But Jesus is king of your identity. The true value of anything is what another will pay for it... and Jesus paid the highest price to secure your salvation. Your worth is safe in Him.
Message for 06.14.20 | When you face challenging times, it’s natural to ask why? Why me, why this, why now? But a far more powerful question is who? Who is with me, who helps me, who will see me through? The Bible declares that Jesus is King. He holds everything together, including your life.
Message for 06.07.20 | Pastor Miles McPherson from Rock Church in San Diego, joins us to talk about his book, The Third Option. Which is all about finding hope through God for a racially divided nation.
Message for 05.31.20 | Coaches like to say that the best defense is a good offense. The same is true for our emotions. One of the best ways to deal with feeling bad, is to do good. The Bible tells us to not grow tired of doing good, because when we focus on loving God and loving people, God makes sure those efforts do not go to waste. We are rescued to be rescuers, so when we keep doing good, we keep moving forward.
Message for 05.24.20 | There are two ways to imagine an unknown future: with fear or with faith. You either imagine the worst is on the way, or that God’s best is yet to come. If you want to move forward with God’s strength, you need to Believe God’s Best. You may not know the future, but you can know that God is working in the future, and that He is with you no matter what comes against you.
Message for 05.17.20 | Any time you move forward, forces can rise up to hold you back. This resistance shows up as obstacles on the outside and as doubts and confusion on the inside. But in Ephesians 6, we see that God has given us some spiritual practices to help us stay strong. In this message, we are encouraged to stand our ground by Standing on God’s Truth. The truth of who we are in Christ, the truth that God is still King, and the truth that His plans can never be conquered.
Message for 05.10.20 | A special Mother’s Day message from Lori Wilhite.
Message for 05.03.20 | Even when things start to run out, God has not run out you. He often moves in times of scarcity to do something new.
Message for 04.26.20 | Even when life is going in the wrong direction, God promises to be with us. His presence can turn the valley of trouble into the valley of blessing.
