Jason has a busy background and it’s quite entertaining to listen to his history with the funny stories along the way. We discuss a few different topics along the way like the differences in training in Canada vs. the US, apprenticeships, the good and the ugly that come with the trades and much more. On this weeks episode we take the podcast to Australia! the wife and I are joined by Scott "Scruff Dog" Jackson, Scruff is a John Deere construction field tech and we dive into a little bit of everything in this episode form service trucks, pay rates, difference is currency and kilometers to miles and a little bit of tool talk. The wife and I learned quite a bit from this episode and glad we got to sit and chat with my buddy from down under, hope everyone enjoys the episode!
On this weeks episode we are joined by Kheldon Stapley and we call him "The Rambler" because, well.. just listen to the episode and you will understand! All jokes aside, Kheldon is a CAT technician out of Utah that has recently gone to the dark side and joined us in the field service side of the trade. Kheldon is also known for his major following on his "Ravenlocke13" Instagram page with almost 9K followers! We discuss Khledons military and trade school background and how he got into the trade, we touched on a few good topics before unfortunately running out of time. In this episode we talk about his military career in the Marines and how that got him into the heavy equipment trade, we also talk what he's doing now and hobbies and how we hate tools and working on stuff in our free time. On this weekends episode we did not have time to schedule a guest due to being on call, so I went solo and talked about stuff that I listen to day to day and also talk about a couple personal life things and give my opinion on some topics.
