I DID IT ALL to protect my mental health because I was struggling with depression and loss of six family members including my father and our last born. Being unaware of mental health, grieving process, and support from my family and community, I had to solve this problem on my own. - I started eating healthy, sleeping early, hanging out with my close friends, and going in nature.

Most complaints and disagreements come from lack of understanding. When we fail to listen carefully what the person is saying, they remain unheard which leads to feeling dissatisfied. Our job in any relationship is to understand other people's needs and find a way of meeting them since we are the only people who promised to meet their needs. This goes both ways.
Most relationships fade not because of lack of passion but because of lack of attention and intentionality. To be able to maintain a long term relationship one needs to be able to self regulate, correct, and lead in supporting and meeting their significant other's needs. If you can control your attention and what you do with it, you can definitely build a long lasting relationship. It all begins with ourselves. We blame others while we can't even notice what's going on with people in our lives.
