Chamique Holdsclaw joins the fellas on another episode of Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles. The Queens LEGEND talks about what it was like growing up and hooping with guys. She discusses how she knew Ron Artest and Lamar Odom before they became stars, and also explains that she was often chosen in front of players like that when she was playing pickup. The conversation then moves from the city to the country, specifically to Knoxville, Tenn., where Chamique played for Pat Summitt. She has no shortage of stories about her old coach, everything from Pat throwing clipboards to how she inspired so many young women to be great — it’s a revealing glimpse into Pat Summitt’s true character. Chamique and the guys also talk about her decorated career at Tennessee, where she won three national championships and scored more than 3,000 points. Darius and Q also ask her what it was like to be the first woman ever on the cover of SLAM magazine cover, and then Chamique tells them how special it was to get to play for Team USA before she even got to the WNBA. She recounts the story the birth of the WNBA and about getting drafted into the league, as well as how it was possible for her to live out her childhood dreams.
