  • Should Men Date Up?

    Send us a text

Dating is an art and so is choosing the right person to share your life with. As adults we deal with difficulties in our day to day lives and because of human nature, we try to find a way out by finding advantages through other people. We settle for people we normally wouldn’t give the time of day because of money and opportunity. If we took the time to date people who fit  our criteria and not our day to day needs then we might find true happiness. Beauty and sex appeal are not enough when dating. Substance and depth are far more valuable.

  • Unrealistic Expectations

    Send us a text

In this episode, we’re discussing some of the unrealistic expectations people have during the dating stage. It’s not a man nor a woman’s job to make your life easier by taking responsibility for you and your children. We are all adults with our own adult responsibilities. Until you and that person have decided to become one in union, household necessities such as groceries, clothing, and childcare are solely your responsibility.

  • Diddy Do It?

    Send us a text

In this episode we’re discussing the downfall of yet another black man. Conveniently, we’re always the scapegoat for everything that is negative and the consequences are always a lot more severe than those of our counterparts. The discussion is, are we our own worse enemy? We take everything for a joke and even applaud when we see one of our own being publicly lynched. We think we’re helping serve justice while completely unaware we’re taking part in our own destruction.

  • Waiting for Marriage

    Send us a text

In this week’s episode we dive into a rather controversial topic, should girls wait until marriage to be sexually active? While opinions may vary we recognize that in today’s society, especially with the presence of social media, young girls who have had multiple sexual encounters are treated rather harshly. To the masses a girl who has had a plethora of sexual partners has lost value and has no self worth. On the contrary, young boys are given praise and tend to attract more attention. Is it plausible that these girls are lacking in self respect, self esteem and/or self worth?

We can all agree from a parental standpoint, we must protect our children both male and female. There’s a lot of responsibility that comes along with partaking in these activities and as parents it is our duty to ensure our children are well educated.

  • Components Of A Healthy Relationship

    Send us a text

What are the components of a healthy relationship? Generally speaking the answer depends on the individuals in that relationship. A common staple in most successful relationships is loyalty. Some would say having a trustworthy partner, someone you feel comfortable talking about anything with, and someone you can joke around and be playful with matters. We can all agree, being your partners peace is a must.

  • Race vs Nationality

    Send us a text

The difference between nationality and race is as simple as being able to identify oil and water. Yet for so many it appears to be an impossible task. For many, many, years people of color from different countries have been using their nationality as a replacement for their actual race; as if being Black were a terrible thing. Society has brainwashed the weaker parts of us (meaning those with less pride) into accepting self hate as a way to disassociate themselves from the Black race. For each person denouncing their Blackness as a means to escape scrutiny, hatred, jealousy, envy and fear we witness a Black person who’s lost pride, respect, dignity and most importantly self worth. We’ve got to love the skin we’re in and represent ourselves unapologetically.

  • Black Men VS Black Women

    Send us a text

Why do we hate, dislike, belittle and bash each other? Why is it people of our caliber and depth can’t seem to understand each other? We have so much grace and understanding for everyone else except our own. Respect doesn’t cost a thing! The ability to agree to disagree doesn’t cost a thing! More importantly, if we want our children to stop killing each other we need to show them it’s ok to love one another. We can do that by first respecting each other.

  • Freedom of Speech

    Send us a text

Freedom of speech should not be reserved for some while others have to watch what they say. Especially if we’re going by the standard all men are created equal. As people we have the right to our opinions. In today’s society we have reached a point where only certain people can verbalize their opinions and all others have to remain silent. Seems everyone is entitled to speak on black issues but blacks aren’t allowed to speak on anyone else’s issues. Consequences and repercussions are reserved for us whenever we speak on mistreatments, injustices, inequality or etc. As a people who have contributed more than a lot to help develop and civilize our world no one man opinion is greater than any of ours.
