Roxanne Flores is Chief People Officer of Fortune Media Group, a global media company which includes the preeminent business media brand, Fortune magazine, and of live events and conferences worldwide. Fortune is dedicated to helping its readers, viewers, and attendees succeed big in business through unrivaled access and best-in-class storytelling. In this role, Roxanne is responsible for leading human resources. Her mission is to build and nurture the most effective workforce in the journalism industry and make Fortune a truly great place to work. With a proven track record in human resources and talent management, Roxanne has extensive experience collaborating with CEOs and senior talent on driving company culture and shaping organizational transformation. Roxanne has helped set strategy and implement business plans for all aspects of talent management at some of the largest media companies in the world, including Meredith Corporation, Time Inc. and Dow Jones & Company. She has broad functional expertise in HR strategy, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, change leadership, and talent development and acquisition, including diversity and inclusion initiatives. Previously, Roxanne was Vice President, Chief People Officer of Meredith Corporation following the company’s historic acquisition of Time Inc. in 2018. At Time Inc., Roxanne served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources since 2012 and was responsible for providing generalist support in compensation planning, benefits, employee development, staffing and labor relations. She also led and executed talent management for several high profile acquisitions and divestitures during her tenure. Prior to that, Roxanne served as Director/HR Business Partner at Dow Jones & Company where she provided global business partner support for recruitment and retention, employee/labor relations, benefits, on-boarding, training and development counseling. She began her career at Tribune Company with positions at WPIX-TV, WGN America and Tower Distribution in New York. A native of Brooklyn, Roxanne graduated with a B.S. in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland. In her spare time, she runs and volunteers with NY Cares.
