Courtney is a jewelry designer who founded the World of Indah, a luxury, fashion-forward and organically sustainable brand of beautifully crafted jewelry. This was a great interview with Daniel Levin, the author of "The Mosaic," a wonderful book about a young boy's search for heaven. In his quest, the boy, Mo, meets people who impart nuggets of wisdom on how to live a heart-centered life. In real life, Mo is actually Daniel, who sought answers to where heaven was as he tried to reconnect with the people he loved and lost. More importantly, in his quest he finally realized that he had always had them with him as he walked through life - if only he knew where to look and how to listen.Daniel provides us with many golden nuggets of wisdom about how to be truly connected with oneself and with the rest of the world. As part of a larger vision for a better world, Daniel is starting a journey within the United States first to talk to and document his conversations with the voiceless in our society starting May 1, 2020. He believes that listening to the people whose voices are not heard will create bridges that connect ordinary people who can make extraordinary changes. In this podcast episode, I interview Joyce Odidison. Joyce is a Certified Training and Development Professional with the Institute for Performance and Learning, a member of the International Association for Worksite Health Promotion, and a Certified Professional Coach with the International Coaching Federation. She travels all over the world on speaking engagements and is a sought-after coach, group facilitator, and master trainer. There are so many known benefits to being creative. Yet, few of us make creativity a practice or habit. In today's episode, we discuss some of the known benefits of creativity, why being creative and sharing your work with the world is hard, and finding the courage to do that. As we discussed in Episode 4, if we are all able to meet the world's deepest need from our place of deep happiness, we will be truly fulfilled and happy. Being creative is a great way to access our heart-center but we should not just stop there. We should share our creative output with the people around us and with the world. And we need to find the courage to do just that - share our creativity with the world.
