In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Pro-wrestler, Army veteran, podcaster Chilly Willy Jones. Channa met Willy in 2019 during a MWF (Manila Wrestling Federation) event with Japanese wrestler Tajiri. 

Chilly Willy started wresting in 1997 in local promotions competing the likes of Hardy brothers. He was also active in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in early 2000s and remembered for Flaming table matches. 

Willy currently resides in the Philippines and been active in mentoring talents on local wrestling promotions. Willy is also Purple Heart and Bronze Star awarded US Army veteran. He also host of Chilly Willy podcast and co-host of A&C Podcast.

In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Arun Jilukshan (guitars) and Sahan Mendis (bass)  of ABYSS, the groove metal band from Sri Lanka. Channa watched ABYSS live in 2016 at Maelstrom festival in Colombo.  

ABYSS always wanted to be a band who wanted to carry, infect and spread one message to the majority of the society who are blinded solely by the materialistic things in life and trapped in the lies of political power. Hence, by playing the genre “RAW” groove metal, it unintentionally led to a concept called Rebel, Anarchy, Wrath where this concept sums up what ABYSS stands for, what it represents and what ABYSS talks about.

In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Scottish singer George Porter. George is also the singer of the band Empires That Dance and Simple Minded (Simple Minds tribute band). 

George grew up in a musical home and he was attracted to any kind of music that pleased his ears. He started collecting music and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons “December, 1963” was the first record he bought. He still has all the records he ever bought in his collection. 

George was more interested in playing soccer than doing music, but in his teenage years he formed a band with his friends. George also remember watching Simple Minds for the first time over 40 years ago which made him a lifelong fan.   

George recently released his latest single "Taking on the World" and he wishes to put awareness on Mental Health rampant in society today.

Andrew is the guitarist, songwriter of the bands Framework and Daughter Chaos.  Daughter Chaos was born from of the ashes of legendary Swedish death metal band ARMAGEDDON which was formed by Christopher Amott.  Andrew played bass with ARMAGEDDON from 2016.

Andrew is with one mission: to craft beauty from chaos.  As a metal musician, his goal is to concentrate emotions of anger, sorrow, despair, and fear into powerful, yet beautiful music.

Andrew Pevny is also a graduate from the world renowned Berklee College of Music magna cum laude.

In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Chathuranga Hewa Bandula, the drummer of Japanese Slam/Brutal Death Metal band Gorevent.  Channa met Ranga in 2013 is Sri Lanka through a mutual friend.  

Ranga grew up in a musical home in Sri Lanka and early on got into Metal music.  He started playing keyboard and shifted drums later. Ranga formed the Sri Lankan Brutal Death Metal Band Old Castles Massacre. 

Ranga moved to Japan few years ago and joined the legendary Japanese metal band Gorevent.  Ranga is recording with Gorevent on new music and looking forward to touring the world with them.
