There’s an experience of rest, joy and strength that only comes from God as we turn to and trust in Him. In the book of Isaiah we see this clearly. God had offered rest to His chosen people, Israel. He had even sent them a prophet to deliver a message of hope.

Many people live under the illusion that all good people go to heaven. Some assume that if you just live a life that’s good enough, God will have to let you into His heaven someday. But that is not what the Bible teaches.
