  • 76. The Secret to Getting Over Your Fear of Public Speaking

In this episode, I’m diving into how impromptu speaking can help you conquer the fear of public speaking. As an overthinker myself, I know how easy it is to let nerves and overthinking hold you back from speaking up. But here’s the thing—those spontaneous moments where you’re asked to speak on the spot can be the key to building your confidence in the art of public speaking.

I’ll share some tips on how to embrace these impromptu opportunities, a simple framework to organize your thoughts, and questions to help you reflect and grow after each experience. Whether it’s in a meeting, at a social event, or just hanging out with friends, I want to encourage you to jump in and start speaking when the opportunity comes up.

  • 74. What Happens in Our Brains When We Hear & Tell Stories

Today we’re talking about what happens in the brain when we share stories.

We know what it takes to share a powerful story, we know what it feels like in our bodies to be vulnerable and share that story. But what is actually happening in our brains when we’re on stage sharing that story with an audience.

I cover neurochemical releases, neural coupling, and how stories help with memory retention.

    Let's nerd out!

I started watching MLM content a couple of years ago because it came up on my fyp. And you’re likely a little more familiar with companies like avon, mary kay, porque no falta la tia en la familia que lo venda. I dive into the “Motivational Speaking’ aspects of this business and my opinions on the tactics they use to recruit and retain.

    • 68. Read-Aloud of Speech: How to Use it Effectively by Xanthes

      Hola everybody!

This week's episode is a read-aloud and very improvised. I read a couple of excerpts from the book "Speech: How to Use it Effectively" by Xanthes and give you my live reactions and interpretations.

Old literature so often misses the mark as far as inclusivity, but even then it's a valuable part of understanding ourselves within the art of public speaking.
