BONUS E2 : Brain on Pause — Tackling Decision Fatigue & Paralysis with ADHD
On this special birthday bonus episode of Chatterbrain Mommy, I'm lifting the curtain on one of ADHD's sneakiest joy-stealers: decision fatigue and its evil twin, decision paralysis. Have you ever felt like trying to decide what to eat, what to wear, or what to work on next is climbing Mount Everest in flip-flops?
You're not alone — and no, you're not lazy.
With ADHD, your brain is constantly sorting, filtering, and having mental tabs open everywhere.
That can lead to cognitive overload, where the tiniest decisions are like life-or-death missions. And when your executive function goes on strike?
Boom — paralysis. You freeze, avoid, or spin your wheels while the to-do list gets legs and walks off.
In this episode, I go in-depth about:
- Why ADHD brains burn out on choices faster than others
- How emotional regulation ties into decision-making traps
- The subtle difference between fatigue and paralysis (and how to spot them in real-time)
- Practical ways to create systems, rituals, and “pre-decisions” so your future self doesn’t run screaming
- How I’m rewiring my birthday season to celebrate joy without decision drama
Whether you're stuck trying to figure out what to post, what to eat, or whether you can even get something done today — this one's for you. Grab a cozy place and let's talk about how to *honor our brains*, simplify our lives, and make space for clarity… one considerate step at a time.
Ever felt decision fatigue? Let's chat about it — tag me @ChatterbrainMommy and share your experience!

Welcome to Season 1: Episode 4
In this episode, I am talking about what many of us with
ADHD don't think it's possible... Finding Inner Peace.
This episode is your permission slip to redefine what peace looks like—and to know it's 100% possible, even for brains that never stop buzzing.
In this episode, I get real about what real inner peace can look like for us ADHD brains that just won't stop. Spoiler alert: it's not quiet or perfect—it's about finding your own rhythm of calm in the midst of chaos.
I will talk in depth about three powerful, ADHD-friendly strategies that make peace possible—even on your busiest, days:
🧘🏾♀️ Guided Meditation (Yes, Even 3 Minutes Count)
No need for silence or stillness. These short, realistic meditations are designed for brains that wander. You’re not doing it wrong if your mind drifts—it’s all about bringing it back with kindness.
🕯️ Sensory Grounding
Need to slow down a runaway mind? Get your body present. Touch something silky, burn a candle, and sip on something warm. These small, intentional acts can anchor you to now, even when your mind is trying to take you somewhere else.
🖊️ Mindful Journaling (Messy Is Magic)
Forget grammar. Forget neatness. This is journaling that gets the chaos out. Brain dumps, half-sentences, scattered thoughts—put it all on paper. You’ll be surprised how powerful it feels to give your inner storm a place to land.
This episode is your ADHD-friendly permission slip to redefine peace—not as a quiet mind, but as a mind that is a kind one.
Let's take a breath together!

Welcome to Season 1: Episode 3
Today on the show, we're taking a peek at the science of dopamine and why it impacts brains with ADHD.
Perhaps you're stuck or feeling in a funk—that's perhaps more than just an emotional state—dopamine could be a contributing element.
I'll talk about how to crack open your own joy, with deliberate intention and design, engaging with activities naturally designed to activate dopamine, in ways that feel true to you and your ADHD needs.
You’ll learn how to build a routine that prioritizes your mental well-being, without guilt, and start embracing self-compassion as part of the process.
It’s time to take control and create your own joy, no cap.
What you’ll hear in this episode:
ADHD & Dopamine – Outlining the impact of dopamine deficiency on mood in ADHD brains.
Creating Joy on Purpose – Finding tasks that release dopamine is one way that intentionality contributes to happiness.
ADHD-Friendly Ways to Boost Dopamine – Pursuing interests, nature, movement, small wins, and creativity.
Self-compassion – Learn how to create your own joy without any guilt.

BONUS E1 : Self-Succeed over Self-Sabotage: The Silent Hustle Killer
Self-sabotage is when you’re lowkey blocking your own blessings. It’s like having one foot on the gas and the other on the brake—you wanna win, but something deep inside keeps pulling you back. You start missing deadlines, ghosting on opportunities, doubting your own worth, or straight-up procrastinating like it's a lifestyle.
Most of the time, it ain't laziness—it's FEAR in disguise. Fear of failing, fear of succeeding, fear of not being good enough, or even fear of leaving your comfort zone. It shows up in ways that feel normal: overthinking, perfectionism, toxic relationships, staying “busy” but never moving forward.
But here’s the real truth: You’re not broken. You’re just battling old beliefs with a new version of yourself that’s trying to break through.
The first step? Catch yourself in the act. Call yourself out—not to beat yourself up, but to boss up.
Replace the “I can’t” with “I’m learning.”
Replace the excuses with small consistent action. You don’t have to be perfect, just persistent.
You’ve got dreams for a reason. Don’t be the reason you don’t reach them.
Heal.
Grow.
Show up for yourself.
That version of you you’ve been envisioning?
It's already in you—just waiting for you to stop standing in your own way.
