John Kerezy is a professor of mass communications at Cuyahoga Community College, and the man responsible for getting Tony Mazur his first radio internship at WKNR. He joined the Check Your Brain podcast for a nice discussion on the entire media landscape, from what happened to good reporting, the viability as an industry, to confirmation bias.
From the falling of the Covid regime to the Freedom Convoy, Ukraine to Uvalde, from Pride Month to Monkeypox, to Roe & Wade, Check Your Brain's Tony Mazur covers it all. He also talks about Joe Biden, Elon Musk, Stephen Colbert, Alex Jones, Kanye West, Joe Rogan, Putin/Zelensky, among other major figures from 2022 in this wrap-up podcast.
Woody was just three days old when he was found outside Tony Mazur's apartment complex. He didn't think the kitten would live through the night. Then, a few months later, he was diagnosed with a heart murmur that eventually took his life a 2 1/2 years old. Tony pays tribute to Woody, a very special cat that meant the world to him.
Pat Dixon is a comedian and host of New York City Crime Report on Censored.TV. Pat and Check Your Brain's Tony Mazur had a "fun" discussion on the world around us, from the crime sprees in cities to the Covid authoritarianism, to the heavy injection and normalization of queer theory in schools. Check out his new article in the publication American Mind: https://americanmind.org/salvo/rats-rats-democrats/
Nick Taber is one of the hosts of the podcast Movie Theater Time Machine. He and Check Your Brain's Tony Mazur talked about the state of movies, how film will adapt to the streaming world, cult films, and over/underrated comedies.
Ray DeVito is a comedian and podcaster originally based out of Cleveland, Ohio, and now lives in New York City. He spoke with Tony Mazur about food, adolescence, his start in comedy, who he enjoyed watching, and advice for young comedians. (Pardon the first few seconds of dead air due to tech issues)
Check Your Brain's Tony Mazur goes over a recent series of commercials that seem to degrade white men.
Chad Zumock and Tony Mazur were bored one day and decided to record a podcast. After a half hour of talking radio, Caddyshack, and Ted Knight, the Reverend Bob Levy jumps on board. Then Godfrey pops on an hour in to talk about the divide between blacks and Jews in modern society.
Bruce Hall is a friend and fan of the Check Your Brain podcast, so he joined Tony Mazur to recap Tuesday's midterm elections (as of the recording; things could definitely change). They also touched on the Covid regime's downfall, the regime's fixation on kids, and conspiracy theories revolving around Bill Gates, Paul Pelosi, and the Bushes.
Chris Clark is a comedian and excellent Twitter follow. He lives out in the Pacific Northwest, and joined Tony Mazur on the Check Your Brain podcast to discuss the insanity happening in far-left cities like Portland, from Antifa taking over to the trans explosion in schools.
