In this episode I talk about how having a strategic plan is vitally important and senior leaders have to know where they are going. However EVERY worker needs to be included and involved in strategic dialogues in order to embed strategy into the organization. At its best a strategic plan is linked to individual performance and what it means for every employee. Senior leaders need to be deeply committed to staying focused on reviewing and communicating the strategic focus on an annual basis.

There are opportunities for workers with increased technology - while there are workers concerned about work being automated the research shows that even with automation there will be a worker shortage until at least 2030. 

In order to create a trust culture you need leaders who can create a safe environment both in office and virtually to increase engagement. 
There is a direct correlation between the 'feel good' feelings and trust. Empathy is a crucial human skill needed to increase trust.
