A year removed from finishing in last place, the Chicago Red Stars are headed to the playoffs! While that is certainly worth celebrating, it hasn’t happened because they’ve been playing well. Three losses in their last four games, with Ludmila suspended and Mallory Swanson struggling, leave the Red Stars in a strange position.
