On this episode of Chicago Beer Pass, Brad Chmielewski and Nik White crack open cans of Bangarang. This is the first ever collaboration between Alarmist Brewing and Sketchbook Brewing. Bangarang is hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Hallertau Blanc and Simcoe to draw out white wine and citrus flavors. This dry IPA clocks in at 5.5% ABV for some serious summer crushing. Beerathon from Off Color Brewing is a 2.6% ABV beer that has salt and a complex blend of watermelon rind wafting from the slightly pink-hued ale. This is a great beer to have at lunch or even just hanging out in the sun; refreshing and salt helps with rehydration right?   As the guys knock back a couple low ABV beers, they talk about trips to Solemn Oath Brewing, Hopewell and the newly opened Good Times Brewery.
