Michel Goulet spent the final four seasons of his Hall of Fame career in Chicago. Acquired in a trade in 1990, Goulet was a member of the 1992 Stanley Cup final team and tallied his 500th career goal while skating with the Hawks. A concussion in 1994 ended his career early. Goulet officially announced his retirement in 1995 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame three years later. Goulet finished with 548 goals and 605 assists.

Today we’re profiling Darren Pang, former Blackhawks goaltender and now a familiar voice as Chicago’s TV color commentator. At just 5-foot-5, Pang is the second-shortest goalie in NHL history. His playing career was cut short by injury, but he’s gone on to become one of the most respected broadcasters in the game, famously known for his catchphrase, “Holy Jumpin’!”

Joel Quenneville was already an established coach when the Blackhawks tabbed him to succeed Denis Savard 4 games into the 08-09 campaign. The Hawks made it back to the playoffs that year, and all the way to the Conference Final. A year later, they won the first of 3 Stanley Cups under Quenneville, who would coach the Hawks for 11 years.  Quenneville was suspended by the NHL in 2021 for allegedly mishandling abuse allegations by a former Hawks player but now has been reinstated and will coach the Anaheim Ducks.
