  • Why Self Care isn't selfish - A day at the Collective

As healers, caregivers, and wellness practitioners, we spend so much of our lives giving to others that we often forget to care for ourselves. In this episode, I share reflections from a magical self-care day at the Holistic Health Collective, where I experienced the healing gifts of sauna, acupuncture, integrative medicine, yoga, massage, facial therapy, and IV nourishment.

Together we'll explore why self-care isn't selfish, how receiving support helps us better serve others, and what Ayurveda teaches us about replenishing our energy, building ojas, and living in rhythm rather than resistance. Settle in for a nourishing guided meditation and a gentle reminder that you, too, are worthy of rest, care, and healing.

  • Kapha Season

As we move deeper into spring, you may notice your body feeling a little heavier, slower, or more congested — this is the energy of Kapha.

In this episode, I begin to go a little deeper into my teachings, sharing simple, grounded Ayurvedic tools to help you move through this seasonal shift with more ease. We explore what Kapha is, how it shows up in the body and mind, and how the transition from winter to spring can create feelings of stagnation, allergies, and low motivation.

You’ll learn gentle ways to bring balance back into your day through small shifts in your morning routine, digestion, movement, and daily rhythm.

This is not about doing more… it’s about doing things differently,  with intention, warmth, and awareness.

If your body has been asking for lightness, clarity, and movement… this episode is for you.

  • Staying Rooted While Life Expands

This week on Root & Restore — An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I share a glimpse into a new chapter as I step into my Ayurvedic Health Counselor internship.

With a full week of school, learning new systems and responsibilities, while continuing to run my business and prepare for travel, I reflect on what it really means to grow without losing yourself in the process.

Through an Ayurvedic lens, we explore how seasons of change can increase Vata, and how staying grounded, nourished, and rooted in rhythm allows us to expand without overwhelm.

This episode is a gentle reminder that you don’t have to force your way through growth… you can move with it, supported and steady.

  • When Healing Feels like too much

In this raw and honest episode, I  share the often unspoken side of the healing journey, when growth feels overwhelming and the pressure to “do it all” takes over. Through an Ayurvedic lens, I gently brings us back to simplicity, reminding us that healing isn’t about perfection, but about softening, slowing down, and returning to rhythm. A grounding episode for anyone needing permission to pause.

  • Returning to the Heart

In this episode of Root & Restore — An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I share reflections from a powerful five-day retreat with seven wise grandmothers, each carrying deep ancestral teachings from traditions including Mayan, Māori, and Sufi lineages.

Through an Ayurvedic lens, this episode explores the essence of remembrance, returning to rhythm, listening deeply, and softening into compassion rather than control.

With themes of lineage, healing, community, and a sacred moment of sending prayers into Lake Michigan, I invite you to bring this presence into your everyday life.

A gentle reminder: healing doesn’t come from force… but from awareness, connection, and coming back to the heart. 🤍

  • Kapha Dosha: The Energy of Stability

In this episode of Root & Restore — An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I explore Kapha dosha, the energy of stability, structure, and nourishment.

Kapha is composed of earth and water,  the elements that ground us, hold us, and give form to both body and mind. When in balance, Kapha expresses as deep compassion, patience, resilience, and a steady, nurturing presence.

But when Kapha becomes excessive, this same grounded energy can shift into heaviness, stagnation, and resistance to change.

    Together, we gently explore:
✨ The qualities and role of Kapha in the body and mind
✨ Signs of imbalance — both physical and emotional
✨ How stagnation can quietly build over time
✨ Ayurvedic practices to awaken, energize, and restore flow

We begin with a grounding yet activating mantra practice using the bīja sounds RAM, YAM, and HUM — inviting fire and movement into the system to help gently mobilize Kapha energy.

This episode is a reminder that we are not here to remove Kapha…
but to bring it back into balance.

Through warmth, lightness, and intentional movement, we begin to shift from stillness… into flow.

Take a breath, settle in, and listen closely, your body may already be telling you where it’s ready to move.

    With love,
    Chloe 🤍

  • Pitta Dosha - The Energy of Transformation

In this episode of Root & Restore — An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I explore Pitta dosha, the energy of transformation, digestion, and inner fire.

Through a gentle opening with the grounding and cooling mantra sounds LAM & VAM, I invite you to soften the intensity of fire and reconnect with the stabilizing elements of earth and water.

Pitta governs not only how we digest food, but how we process life, our thoughts, emotions, and experiences. When balanced, it brings clarity, confidence, and purposeful action. But when excessive, it can lead to burnout, inflammation, irritability, and a constant sense of pressure.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • The role of Pitta in the body and mind
    • Signs of balance vs. imbalance
    • How modern life can aggravate excess fire
    • Nourishing foods and simple lifestyle practices to cool and support Pitta
    • A deeper, more compassionate approach to ambition, perfectionism, and self-expectation

This is an invitation to shift from striving… into softness.
To tend to your inner fire with care, rather than force.

Take a breath, place a hand on your heart, and return to rhythm.

    May you be grounded.
    May you be nourished.
May you move gently with the rhythms of life.

  • Vata Dosha — The Energy of Movement

In this episode of Root & Restore, An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I begin a deeper dive into the doshas by exploring Vata, the energy of movement in the body and mind.

Vata is made of the elements air and ether and governs things like breath, circulation, digestion, creativity, and our nervous system. When balanced, it brings inspiration, flexibility, and creativity. But when elevated, it can show up as anxiety, restlessness, digestive irregularity, and feeling scattered or overwhelmed.

In this episode I share how Vata influences our daily lives and simple ways we can begin restoring balance through digestion, rhythm, and lifestyle practices.

Because one of the greatest lessons Ayurveda continues to teach me is that healing begins when we learn to live in rhythm rather than resistance.

  • Understanding the Doshas — The Foundation of Ayurveda

In this episode of Root & Restore,  An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I’m beginning a new series where we explore one of the most important foundations of Ayurveda: the doshas.

Vata, Pitta, and Kapha are the three biological energies that govern everything in our bodies and minds, from digestion and sleep to our personality, stress response, and overall health.

Understanding the doshas is often the first doorway into Ayurveda because it helps us recognize that we are all unique. What nourishes one person may not nourish another, and learning to understand your own constitution can help you begin living more in rhythm with your body and with nature.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be taking a deeper dive into each dosha individually and sharing simple ways you can begin supporting balance through digestion, daily rhythms, and lifestyle practices.

My hope is that these conversations help you become more curious about your body and more compassionate with yourself as you begin to understand the patterns that shape your health.

Because one of the greatest gifts Ayurveda has given me is the permission to live in rhythm rather than resistance, and that is something I hope to share with all of you.
