  • Living in Rhythm, Not Resistance - A Reflection on Ayurveda and the Journey of Becoming

In this reflective episode of Root & Restore — An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I share a deeply personal moment of transition as I completes the first phase of my Ayurvedic studies in the Principles of Ayurveda (PAM) program.

After months of studying, writing, reflecting, and sitting for my final exam, I pause to ask an important question:

What is the greatest gift Ayurveda has given me?

My answer is simple yet profound:

Permission to live in rhythm rather than resistance.

In this soulful reflection, I explore how the wisdom of Sāṃkhya philosophy and Ayurveda has transformed the way I understand health, balance, and the rhythms of life. I share insights about the causes of imbalance, the dance of the guṇas, the subtle energies of prāṇa, tejas, and ojas, and the lessons I have learned about slowing down, listening to the body, and rebuilding vitality through nourishment and awareness.

This episode also marks the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another, as I prepare to begin  Ayurvedic Health Counselor internship this June, bringing the knowledge and wisdom I have gained back to the community.

If there is one message I hope listeners take away, it is this:

Healing begins when we stop resisting life and begin listening to its rhythm.

  • Dharma, Stepping into the path only you can walk

Dharma is not about perfection, it is about alignment.

In this episode, we explore what it means to walk the path that is uniquely yours. Not the one shaped by expectation, comparison, or fear, but the one that feels quietly true in your bones.

Through an Ayurvedic lens, we reflect on purpose, courage, surrender, and the sacred responsibility of living in integrity with your soul’s calling.

Your path does not need to look like anyone else’s. It only needs to be honest.

Whether you are a practitioner or simply someone longing to reconnect with your body, this episode is an invitation to return to touch as sacred.

  • The Gunas of the Mind

In this episode, I explore the three guṇas, Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas  & how they shape the landscape of the mind.

Through an Ayurvedic and yogic lens, we look at how clarity, restlessness, and heaviness move through our thoughts, emotions, and daily rhythms. This conversation invites you to observe your mental patterns without judgment and gently cultivate more sattva more steadiness, more light, more truth.

When we understand the guṇas, we begin to understand ourselves.

  • Women's Wisdom Through Ayurveda - Cycles, Seasons & Sacred Transitions

In this episode of Root & Restore, An Ayurvedic Way of Life, I open a heartfelt conversation about women’s bodies, cycles, and the sacred transitions we move through across a lifetime. Through an Ayurvedic lens, I reflect on menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause as natural seasons rather than problems to fix. This episode is shared with humility and curiosity, honoring the deep pull toward women’s health, the need for natural support during hormonal change, and the wisdom that emerges when we slow down and listen to the body. A gentle invitation to rest, honor your rhythms, and age with grace and reverence.

  • The Dhatus - Nourishing the tissues that hold your life

In this episode, I explore the seven dhatus—the tissues that support vitality, strength, and long-term health.
The dhatus reflect how well we digest food, experiences, and daily life.
When nourished, we feel grounded and resilient... when depleted, the body asks us to slow down.
