Barb started her professional life as a dispatcher for the Tucson Police department, became a street cop and things took off from there! She promoted to Sergeant but left the department to follow her family to better opportunities. She continued her career as a Deputy Chief in Missouri, then she was an instructor at the Illinois State Police Academy, then back to Tucson where she worked for the Pima Community College police department before finally hiring on in the Town of Marana.

She had a fascinating career and I'm more than honored she gave me the opportunity to help her create a legacy for her family. Please show her a warm welcome and enjoy the show!!!

What a huge milestone! This show continues to grow, the Squad continues to grow and I'm honored to be the steward over this awesome show that allows you all to get to know your protectors, your first responders, your public servants.

Dan Lewis is absolutely one of my favorite people who I had the fortune to work with at the Tucson Police Department. There was never a question in my mind who I needed to call when I needed a guest for this special episode. He was gracious enough to agree and the rest is history. I enjoyed this chat. We shared more stories from Larry's career but more importantly he gave a little tribute to his wife. It is my mission, the most important thing to me, that each guest know the episode is theirs and I want them to talk about the things in life, and career, that were significant to them.

I can't tell you how happy I was to reconnect with Greg. The last time I really saw him was 2004! His career was ended tragically short by a collision while on his police motorcycle. He shares that story, but many more about being a street cop, a SWAT operator and a motor cop. Now, he's semi-retired and flies planes as a hobby.

Tom was introduced to me by Gator, so it was good to meet him. He began his career as a paramedic/ EMT but was seduced by the call to be a cop! He was hired by the Village of Park Forrest, outside of Chicago, and spent a few years there (SWAT, Undercover) but the agency was small and the opportunities even smaller. He knew a fellow cop who had moved out West and he did the same. Ultimately hired by the Sheriff's Department his career began in the Wild West. Larry started his public service by enlisting in the Army, he travelled the world, but ultimately decided to return to Tucson where he did a stint with the Department of Corrections before becoming a Pima County Deputy.
