Pandemic Pizza started when 2 best friends got furloughed from their jobs in March and they began making pizza out of their studio apartment. How crazy is that? They figured they might make a couple of pizzas for their friends/families but after only a couple of days, they were getting upwards of 50 orders a day. All out of their tiny home kitchen oven! After a few kitchen-aid and oven issues, they still made it out! They are currently located inside RoVino the Foodery and offering all different types of pizza, including a NEW cauliflower crust and weekly rotating pizza flavors! PRO TIP - Don't forget the black garlic ranch and the cold pizza sauce on the side! We know you love pizza and we know you'll definitely LOVE this!!

Birria is the next trendy food items in 2020! Did you know Yesenia's Mexican Food & Ice Cream serves Birria every Mondays, Thursdays & Sundays? NO?? Now you know! Ooo we found another amazing Italian restaurant! Nestled in between North Park and Hillcrest, @rusticucina is an italian spot dancing with American flavors! One of the owners, Chef Marco, takes us on a journey of this beloved spot that boasts of eclectic Italian flavors boasting a farm to table concept. What's one word that describes them? Freshness! Their menu is filled with rich, hearty pastas, fresh, fresh seafood, and even a vegan menu! They have such a cute and romantic outdoor dining area so you can still dine with them! Oh, don't forget they're serving brunch on the weekend and BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS! San Diego food doesn't get better than that!

What's the crack at Crack Taco Shop?! Do you know what it is? We were introduced to this place from our dear foodie and previous guest Jermaine (@forking_in_public) and we're so glad he put us onto it! In today's episode we interview the owner, Ron, and he tells us all about his restaurant and what exactly the "crack" is! They started less than a year ago and have been doing pretty well amidst this entire pandemic! They serve your classic mexican dishes like burritos, hand-made tacos, carne asada fries! Pizza Nova has been serving up San Diego's best wood-fired pizzas, pastas and salads since we opened our first location in 1990. They have an assortment of dishes including pizzas, pastas, sauces, and desserts! They even have a full bar filled local beer and spirits!
