People continue to get out of California for a litany of reasons. One, obviously, is how unaffordable it is. But where they are headed may surprise you. Southern California city ranked as the most expensive place to live in U.S. leaving California: These were the top destinations for Californians who moved in 2022. Fewer Californians are moving to Texas, but more are going to Florida and Arizona. From San Diego being the least affordable place to live, to San Francisco being the home of AirBnB nightmares.
