This week Angie and Stevens struggle to get into the topic of todays episode by discussing the gospel first, but also last. They believe that the gospel is so important that it merits mentioning every episode. The gospel is, after all, not just good news, but The Good News. Jesus died, was buried and on the 3rd day resurrected in accordance with the scriptures. But why is that important? Because he is coming back for those that receive his free gift of salvation. The wedding parable in the Bible gives us a very clear picture of those that are invited to accept the invitation to the wedding and the feast. It also gives us a clear picture of who is not invited, or better yet, who is not welcomed. Salvation is free and it is beautiful. We hope this podcast encourages you and equips you in sharing the gospel and engaging with others in an effort to help expand and prepare others for the return of our king Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

This week Angie is out and it’s just Stevens. He addresses the listeners and jumps into abortion. A very hot topic right now. As it seems, the Supreme Court of the USA is on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade (1973), which legalized abortion. Stevens discusses the 1973 case briefly and the implications of it being overturned, reads what scripture says about abortion and spilling innocent blood, and gives practical examples on why abortion is simply unconstitutional. There is only ONE instance where the death of the unborn cannot be grounds for prosecution, but it also is not abortion since. In one instance, the hope and attempts are to save both mother and baby. In abortion, the deliberate end goal is to brutally dismember a baby, more times than none, with additional disregard for the mother’s life and/or mental health. Find out what that is and more on this week’s episode!!

This week, Angie and Stevens talk about resurrection day. We have all heard the story of Jesus, life death, burial and resurrection, but why did Jesus willingly die on the cross? Why didn’t Jesus save himself before the cross? Angie and Stevens discuss this and more. The hope of this podcast and its partners is that the Holy Spirit uses it to equip you in discipleship with Jesus, or if you are not a disciple, that God softens your heart and reveals himself to you.
