Our fruit is a natural byproduct of who we really are and can differentiate between those who possess faith from those who merely profess faith.

When we eat and drink, Christ nourishes, strengthens, sustains, blesses and communicates His benefits to us spiritually.

The Kingdom Way is one of mercy, grace, forgiveness, gentleness, and hope, because those in the kingdom understand the depth of their own sin, the justice they deserved, and the mercy and forgiveness they have graciously received in Christ.

It’s a radical love to which is Jesus is calling.  It’s a love that is more than uncomfortable.  It’s a love that challenges us and pushes us to our limits.

Those of the world believe happiness comes via the physical and temporal.  Those of the Kingdom believe deep, abiding, joy comes via the spiritual and eternal.

Jesus, our ultimate authority, alone determines how we can and should honor the Day that has been created for us. The rest He desires for us is a rest He desires us to experience with Him, and is a foretaste of what we will experience for eternity upon His return.

We have and will fast joyfully not sorrowfully in light of the already, and with a hunger for the consummation of the kingdom in light of the not yet.  

Jesus was both willing and able to restore the leper and He continues to be both willing and able to  restore anyone and everyone who will come to Him in faith and will trust Him alone for their salvation. 

Peter and others are no longer going to be catching fish, they are going to be catching men.  They will be actually rescuing men from death and saving them to life through the message of the gospel that they were being called to proclaim. (Due to weather, this was shared online and therefore shorter due to the circumstances of our meeting.  It was also re-recorded due to operator error.)

The exorcising of demons by His Word and the healing of the sick by His Word authenticated the message of salvation He was sent to proclaim.
