Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. — Matthew 6:10

The command to pray "Your will be done" releases us from the exhausting grip of self-rule and frees us into the safety of a perfectly wise Father. Heaven's obedience is immediate and joyful because the angels know their King's heart is only good. When we surrender our own will, we are not losing freedom but gaining the very life for which we were made.
