His program known as GrowingDeer.tv has established the epitome of sharing knowledge of growing deer for the past 15 years. Each week, they release a new video teaching, sharing and explaining how to grow big deer and hunt big deer on your property. And for 15 years, they have never missed a week and have never repeated a show! The commitment to a high performance and quality information is second to none. 

Dr. Woods haas forgotten mroe about the whitetail deer than most people will ever know. In addition to this, he is a dedicated follower of Jesus and shares his faith openly and in a way that is inviting and encouraging to all who listen. It was truly an honor to have Dr. Woods back on the show as we kick off season 6 of Christian Outdoors Podcast.

Sitting in my deer stand in SE Kansas got me reflecting on how great God is and how so many of us feel alone adn isolated at times. In reading my bible, I read again Psalm 100 and those words reminded me that we are never alone, but that we are His. Regardless of what you are going through, remember you are HIS and his love is greater than anything that can come against you. 

In my world as an outdoor writer I have the ability to preview a lot of new products, and to see some of the new innovations that are on the horizon. I am constantly amazed at how people create ways to make a hole. The Archery Trade Association annual show is one place where you will witness dozens of new broadhead designs every year. 

It seems that there is always someone who thinks they can create a better broadhead. One that flies better, cutted better, and tunes easier. I've seen broadheads that were diminituve in size barely bigger than the arrow itself, and some that looked like a hubcap flying through the air. And every one of these folks believed theirs was the best ever designed. 

Today, we have on the show the founders of a new broadhead company, TouLou broadheads has designed a single bevel broadhead with a twist...literally, and the design allows the arrow to fly straight and flatter due to the tip driving the rotation of the arrow verses the feathers.

Stress, anxiety and worry are becoming an epidemic in America. More and more pople are taking antianxiety medication than ever before. We are consumed with stress. How can we overcome stress, anxiety and worry? What can we do as Christians to combat the attacks on us?

Traditional Archery is seeing a resurgence in recent years, and Robert Carter of Georgia has found his place among some of the best instructors of the sport. His YouTube channel on traditional archery is one of the finest available. His no nonsense style, and easy to follow instruction has found a great audience, including myself. 

Hunting with a longbow or recurve requires a lot of patience, strategy and execution. Carter explains how proper shooting techniques along with confidence will put deer and hogs in your freezer. 

Robert also shares how God "saved me in a cow pasture" from a life of drugs, alcohol and more. his testimony and story will resonate with a lot of listeners and benefit all of us with his humility. 

To be obedient to God's word can be a challenge for many of us at different times in our lives. Today we discuss the importance of obedience and why as a follower of Christ it is imperative that we try to be obedient to his calling on our lives.
