So this week's show is a very special edition for a couple of reasons. Firstly it's the very 1st interview I've done on this show and secondly the show will be going out to a far wider audience than usual, thanks to the interviewee, The Message Trust and New Sound Christian Radio, but more of that later.

A few weeks back someone said to me, “You should think about interviewing people for your show !” Initialy I wasnt up for it as up till now, Christians in my Soup has always been a 1 man show that was perhaps more of an audio blog than anything else. But then whilst chatting to a friend of mine, who's about to embark on a whole new era of life for the Lord, I WAS inspired to interview him not just for the podcast but for the wider publication of the project that he and his wife are about to undertake.

Now before I start, I should point out that this interview was conducted via zoom so all that proper social distancing protocols have been observed. So sit back and enjoy The Eden Project Interview, with Bramwell Blyth !

So carrying on from last week's memories of the Heritage week's at st Winifreds, this week I want to share a little about the Steam Train Week's that I was asked to lead. Now I say “Asked,” in truth this was something that I had wanted to do since day one as I have a love for steam trains, and this opportunity to be paid to lead people on 3 different steam trains in the space of 5 days was too good to miss !

So this week's memory is once again from my time living on the beautiful North Wales coast and working at St Winifreds Christian Conference and holiday centre. This particular occasion took place in the winter of 2010. The cold had really kicked in and there was snow on the way. Nothing too spectacular in that you might think and you'd be right too ! But this year would be different – for me at least ! With snow in the forecast Anne and I  headed to bed, wondering what we might wake up to...
