Στο ελληνικό λεξιλόγιο, ο όρος ΑΕΙΦΟΡΙΑ αναφέρεται στη διαχείριση και χρήση των φυσικών, οικονομικών και κοινωνικών πόρων με τρόπο που ικανοποιεί τις ανάγκες του παρόντος, χωρίς να υπονομεύει τη δυνατότητα των μελλοντικών γενεών να καλύψουν τις δικές τους ανάγκες.

Ο όρος αυτός με την ονομασία SUSTAINABILITY εισήλθε στο επιχειρηματικό περιβάλλον τη δεκαετία του 1980, κυρίως μέσω της έννοιας της αειφόρου ανάπτυξης, όπως αυτή ορίστηκε από την Έκθεση Brundtland γνωστή και ως "Our Common Future".

Γνώρισα τη Χρύση κάμποσα χρόνια πριν, σε μια συνεργασία που έτρεχε εκείνο τον καιρό μέσα απ τα Projects «Food Chain Partnership» και “BayG.A.P”.

Δεν θα ξεχάσω τις ατελείωτες συζητήσεις που είχαμε πάνω στο θέμα της Αειφορίας και της Βιώσιμης Γεωργίας με τη Chrissi Kotonia , τον Ronald E. GUENDEL, τον Kristian Moeller, τον Apostolos Klontzaris ,τον Manolis Panagiotopoulos, τον Markos Legas και τον Thomas Arapogiannis κατά τη διάρκεια της έκθεσης Fruit Logistica στο Βερολίνο το 2015 καθώς ήταν η χρονιά που σηματοδοτούσε την 10η επέτειο του επιχειρηματικού μοντέλου Food Chain Partnership, όπου η Bayer CropScience είχε καλέσει τους συνεργάτες της και τους επίτιμους προσκεκλημένους για να γιορτάσουν τη δεκαετία των επιτυχημένων συνεργασιών με μία μεγάλη γενέθλια δεξίωση.

Πρόσφατα η Χρύση με κάλεσε στην παρουσίαση μιας καινοτόμου πλατφόρμας για την οποία νοιώθει χαρούμενη και περήφανη που εργάστηκε και συνεχίζει να εργάζεται πάνω σ αυτή, με την εμπορική ονομασία ResiYou.

Δυστυχώς δεν μπόρεσα να παρευρεθώ με τη φυσική μου παρουσία, αλλά την παρακολούθησα διαδικτυακά και εντυπωσιάστηκα για μία ακόμη φορά απ την επιμονή και πίστη που έχουν κάποιοι Άνθρωποι στην Βιωσιμότητα και την Αειφορία.

Ήταν μονόδρομος για μένα να την καλέσω να συζητήσουμε για το «ταξίδι της Αειφορίας» όλα αυτά τα χρόνια σε ένα Υβριδικό επεισόδιά 2 podcasts που έχω την χαρά να κάνω τα τελευταία χρόνια – το “Hydroponic Talks” και το “Deep Dive Interviews”.

Μιλήσαμε για τα ΑγροΤρόφιμα, τα δευτερογενή πρότυπα εμπορίας, για την ασφάλεια των τροφίμων, για την υπευθυνότητα και την ευθύνη, για τον παραγωγό και τον χρήστη, για τα πρότυπα αλλά και τις καλές πρακτικές, για το ResiYou και την digital εποχή, για το ΑΙ και για το team spirit , για την χρήση των data αλλά και των Metadata και φυσικά για την κοινές μας αγάπες τη Γεωργία και τους Ανθρώπους της.

Προσωπικά δεν θα μπορούσα να βρω καλύτερο τρόπο να αποχαιρετήσω το 2024.

Γνωριμία με τον Χρήστο Δ. Κατσάνο

Ο Χρήστος Δ. Κατσάνος έχει σπουδάσει την Γεωπονική, τη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων και τις Διαπραγματεύσεις. Ασχολείται με όλη την αλυσίδα του αγροτικού επιχειρείν εδώ και 32 χρόνια. Είτε ως Υπεύθυνος παραγωγής, είτε ως επιθεωρητής συστημάτων διαχείρισης Τροφίμων και Περιβάλλοντος, είτε ως Σύμβουλος Ολικής Διαχείρισης Θερμοκηπίου σε όλες τις μεγάλες μονάδες της Ελλάδας, είτε ως Σύμβουλος Αναγεννητικής Αμπελουργίας.

Αρκετά από τα project του έχουν βραβευτεί, όπως το Tomaccini - το πρώτο snack τοματάκι στην Ελληνική αγορά, η Πράσινη Επιχείρηση Υδροπονικής Φράουλας με το όνομα FraoulaBest , το “Keys 2 my Crops” με τη συμμετοχή 8 χωρών της Ευρώπης.

Σήμερα ασχολείται ενεργά με την ESG (Environmental, Society, Governance) Sustainability, το Branding μέσω της CorporateTV της TROPOS Branding και είναι εκδότης του portal hydroponics.gr.
