Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
I react to a VERY popular ex-Christian youtube duo being hosted by Dwight from the Office on the topic of Jesus and Spirituality. If that sounds amazing, I think it will be!

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
There's a new Pope in town. What does this mean for regular Christians?
Meanwhile a couple states are defying legislation to fly the symbol of their faith. And no, it is not Christianity.
Then we look into one state representative who is praying to 'trans jesus' for his salvation. Oh dear.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
A or perhaps THE flagship Christian Magazine seems to question the truth of the Resurrection on Easter. This is a BIG problem.
However, in good news, the NY Times has finally realized that some people live out their faith. You won't believe what symbol they noticed Christians wear. Hint it is in the shape of a cross...
Also, the UK Supreme Court weighs in and determines the controversial take that, a woman is, well a woman. Yes, shocking and revolutionary, I know!

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
A giant Hindu statue that is 90 feet high now towers over a suburb of Houston, Texas.
Why? Why did Christians think this was ok to allow?
How do you feel about it now?
Is this one big example of 'Religious Liberty?'
Or is there more going on here from a theological perspective?
Are we better together?
Is diversity our strength?
Do all roads lead to salvation?

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
Last yeat at Easter, the former President Biden encouraged Americans to celebrate trans day of visibility.
This year is slightly different with Worship in the White House! Singing songs and hymns and spiritual songs to JESUS in the very house of American power. This is in a bit of a contrast to the previous administration but you still have quote unquote Christian leaders claiming Harris would have been better. I have people on my social media feeds posting how terrible Trump is as a human and what a disaster this present administration is, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out what they saw in the opposition? How can the anti-Christian, godless marxism be better? For Christians? I can only chalk it up to people being truly deceived.
Colossians 2:8 "Be careful that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deceit based on human tradition, based on the elemental forces of the world, and not based on Christ."

Apparently, Andy Stanley's church, Northpoint has a message for middle schoolers and small group leaders - use preferred pronouns and make sure you walk along with their gender transition. Is this for real?
Meanwhile, Trump's spiritual advisor, Paula White wants you to have 7 spiritual blessings for Easter, all for the low, low price of $1000. Yikes.
Oh and the newest remake of the Narnia series will have Aslan, the lion, aka Jesus Christ, portrayed by Meryl Streep.

Every single Democrat voted against a bill that would keep men out of women's sports.
In related news, Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, in a surprising statement comes out against men in women's sports.
And another representative really does not want men in women's shorts. Yes, shorts.
What a wild world we live in.

Thieves steal the Declaration of Independence. Oh wait, nope, that's a different story. This one is that thieves actually broke into a church in Lincolnshire, England and stole an historic mural of the 10 Commandments. Seems like there's something IN the 10 Commandments that would say that's a bad idea...

In other news, people are SUPER mad at DOGE and Unelected Elon. In response, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller gives a great Constitutional lesson on governance.
