Advent Week 1 - HOPE!

Advent is a traditional Christian practice that reminds us how much we need our Savior Jesus Christ. The word Advent means ‘visit’ or ‘arrival’. Today we remember the arrival of Jesus to this world. Many of your kids have the little calendars with chocolate in them marking each day until Christmas. This practice of Advent is a weekly reminder marking the arrival of Jesus into this world and looking forward to the day he comes again.

CP418 Happy Thanksgiving!

INTRO
424 years ago the pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock with the express purpose of creating a new society where God was central and no king would tell them how to worship. Since then, our country has seen countless issues trying to pull us away from our worship of God.
Today on ChurchPublic we are taking a break from current events to focus on the story of Thanksgiving.

I hope you enjoy!

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
Trump promises to crack down on gender insanity promoted by the left and the Biden/Harris administration.
In case you forgot they had a man who surgically altered himself to look like a woman go topless on the White House lawn.
I will not show you that video, but here is Biden hugging that man right before the 'incident.'
And of course the Biden/Harris administration put the biggest pride progress flag possible on the White house
Meanwhile, the fake husband of Transportation Secretary Pete Butigegg led a bunch of kids in a pledge of allegiance to the Pride flag.
All of this and MUCH more happened under the Biden Harris admin and, well, now Trump has some things to say about that.
And I'm wondering what the Evangelicals for Harris have to say. Surprisingly, they have been really silent on the socials.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
Donald J Trump will be the 47th president of the United States of America.
In a shocking, but not surprising turn of events on election night, Trump was declared the winner of the race. I have been saying for months he would win if the cheating was kept at bay. It seems that the numbers were so great for Trump that there was no way to challenge the outcome.
Even so, from a Christian perspective, there have been and are many evangelicals who pushed for believers to stay out of politics and instead just live in the Kingdom of God.
Is this right, or should a believer actually pay attention to what is going on in the physical world around him?

A rando comedian goes rogue at the Trump Madison Square Garden Rally and Biden calls half the nation garbage.

And Jimmy Kimmel makes an illegal joke that he will face absolutely no consequences for.

Kamala Harris heard a person at the rally shout, "Jesus is LORD," and apparently had them thrown out of the rally. This leaves the question, why? Why does she not want real Christians at the rally? Could it be because she is so pro abortion that the mere presence of a believer causes chaos? Who knows.
Meanwhile, JD Vance was at a rally and when the crowd shouted, "Jesus is King," he said, "Yes! Jesus is King!"

There could not be a more stark difference between the parties.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
Kamala is introduced as a 'phenomenal servant of God' for a church service. We'll take a look at this claim and weigh the evidence.
We also take a look at the latest border crisis, gangs taking over apartment buildings.
And finally we take a view into the Al Smith Charity Dinner where both sides were invited, but only one chose to attend. I'll give you one guess who attended and who phoned it in.

The Harris campaign's new ad drops telling us, once an

Oh and Star Wars introduces a trans clone trooper and accidentally gives away the reality of the LGBT$%^&* game.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
The border crisis just got worse. Apparently almost 500k immigrants were released into America who are convicted criminals. Many of whom are murders and rapists according to ICE.
In other news, Time magazine draws a straight line from being trans to needing abortion so that's weird.
Meanwhile, and speaking of abortion, a recent study of Christian colleges found almost one in ten give out resources FOR Planned Parenthood which is shocking and terribly anti-Christian.

Disney's new marvel series is, can you guess, the, and this is a quote, 'the gayest yet.'
Meanwhile the Governor of Kentucky outlaws 'conversion therapy.' What is that and how does it affect Christians?
We learn about the navy's newest 'gender neutral' submarine and talk about how confining men and women in tight spaces underwater for weeks or months on end could not possibly go badly.
And we check in with the Pope who now says that all religious lead to God.
