Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
As much as Vice President Harris would like to convince you that she is a new, fresh face, and wants us all to move forward into some unreachable utopia, the truth is that she has been in politics for decades and in her own words, "my values have not changed."
Yes, you may be hearing all sorts of new and exciting things from her like free money for housing and free money for children and free snow cones at the school assembly, the reality is, Kamala was voted in 2019 the  most liberal senator and even CNN will show that she is still the same politician that was voted most liberal senator in the United States in 2019.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
We are reminded that Kamala, and the state really do not like free speech.
Then we look at the country's oldest Baptist church and the demonic ceremony that just took place there.
Finally, we will check in on Russell Brand and see how his fresh faith in Jesus is going. Spoiler, he REALLY loves Jesus!

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
Kamala Harris gives a disastrous interview which was apparently 27 minutes of recorded word salad cut down into 18 minutes of blabbering about nothingness. No real policy position, no intelligent plans. She couldn't even tell us what she would do on the first day in office.
All the while avoiding the reality that she has been and IS the current Vice President.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
A gigantic hindu statue is raised in Houston showing how far we have misunderstood religious freedom in America.
Kentucky Governor claims it is 'loving your neighbor' to kill babies in the womb. Wow what a terrible mis-application of God's Word.
The Church of England wants to remove the word 'church' so that more people will attend their ... gatherings or whatever they will be called. Seems counter productive, but what do I know.

I'm tired of being a conservative.
After all what are we conserving?
Jesus said of those that believe,
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot." Matthew 5:13

Tim Walz is selected for Vice President in the Democratic ticket making the Harris / Walz pair the most extremely progressive ever in American History, and that's saying something.
Meanwhile we look back at the Olympics and look past all the satanic woke garbage to some really great moments that show the light of Jesus in a dark place

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
The Olympic Games began last week with quite the fanfare in France.
To the shock and horror of many across the world, they seemed hell bent on making fun of Christianity at every turn. While I should not be surprised at the nation that literally invented the Left, with ideas of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, still, I am disappointed and shocked at the levels of depravity they descended to in this opening ceremony for 2024.

God saved President Trumps life last Friday.
Today we are not going to look at all the theories and the details of the assassination attempt. Instead, we are going to look at the theological implications of that event and the Republican National Convention that followed.

400 episodes. In a way I cannot believe that.
THANK YOU!

I started this podcast because I was looking around and seeing that the world was going crazy and I read my Bible and other theology books a lot. So, I started having conversations with friends and they kept asking more questions about more current events, so I said, hey, would you listen if I turned these conversations into a podcast, and here we are - 400 episodes later.
