Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
Drew Barrymore wants Kamala Harris to give everyone a hug and be their mom. Yikes.
Vivek claims that our founding fathers are going to judge you in heaven or something.
And we check in with the United Methodist Church. Once founded by the great John Wesley, now... well, it's gone really, really weird.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
Remember that poor priest who was stabbed for saying Christ is Lord? Well it turns out that happened, but the Australian government doesn't want you to know about it. Sounds weird, right. Yeah, almost like not all cultures are the same and some people are really trying hard to make Christians out to be the bad guy, even when they get stabbed for it.

In other news, Biden versus the teleprompter in the Teleprompter Strikes Back.

We hear from Robert F Kennedy on his abortion views.

And we take a quick look at the protesters on College campuses across America. One in particular has a really good reason for protesting, or something.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
We actually look back in time and then back to the present.
In the city of Corinth, sometime during the early church a Christian cut the face off a statue of a Roman Goddess and carved a cross in it's place.
While this may seem wrong or inappropriate, to literally de-face a statue, the implication is actually profound and has incredible significance for those in that age and for us today.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:
Israel strikes back at Iran, let's take a look at what happened and where we are on the way to WWWIII.
President Biden changes language once again, this time in Title IX which moves the idea of man and woman into whatever gender you want. This effectively makes women's sports a thing of the past allowing whatever man wants to claim woman-hood and then destroy every single women's competition from here on out.
And in other news, Governor of Florida, Ron Desantis says that the grade school chaplains can't be satan worshippers, so that's fantastic.

Hundreds of missiles are launched from Iran at Israel.

CP385 Is Trump Pro Life?

Trump reveals his view on abortion and people all over are upset. Does he plan on supporting pro life causes? Is he pro abortion? Is he doing a federal ban or is he leaving it up to the states?
We are in an election year and it seems that abortion is a hot topic on everyone's mind. And rightly so. Defending the innocent is a part of being a Christian. And unborn babies are the most vulnerable in our population.

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective:

Happy Easter or as I like to say, Happy Resurrection Day.
We have moved through Holy Week from Palm Sunday and the Triumphal Entrance of Jesus the King to the Upper Room where Jesus led the Passover remembrance feast and then transformed the oldest ritual into the New Covenant of the Lord's Supper.
Then we went through Good Friday, named not for the good of the circumstances, but the good which was brought by Jesus sacrifice.
Finally, we rejoice in Resurrection Sunday where we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, not just because he is alive, but because we have life through him. Hallelujah!

While this was all happening in a local church near you, devout Catholic Joe Biden decides that Easter is not really an important holiday of the Christian faith instead opting to replace it with the Trans Day of Visibility. Yeah sure, this unrealistic and very new expression of of the LGBTQ%^&* cult has been around for apparently 15 years, but his choice this year was clear and it was highlighted, not just once but over and over and over again. Oh, and don't draw a cross on your Easter egg decoration or that is banned too.

To repeat a phrase I use a lot:
Which way western man, Christ or chaos, you can only choose one.

This is currently a HOT topic on the interwebs and the socials.
And it seems like something I should talk about since it is combining church and culture.

First, if you have not heard the chaos about this, good. You probably are better for it and you likely spend much less time on the internet, which is a good thing. If you have heard about this, you know that there is much drama unfolding on the socials.

We'll talk about all this and more today on ChurchPublic
