Two days after the Poetry Jam...there's still a lot I want to process. And int the meantime, I thought it was only right to revive this archived episode from Feb. 1st, 2021 that related to a message I spoke on, on Saturday. The message is titled "Let the Storm Finish". I pray that what you get our of this episode is a new outlook on how you should respond to the trials in your life.

Birthdays used to be a time of genuine happiness and celebration. Unfortunately for me and a lot of us, it has turned into a time where we stress about not being as far along in life  as we want to be. Today, I want to talk about this, and how many of our desires in life emerge from our own sinfulness. It is when we put God first, we are able to curb this depression and walk in the path He's called us to.

A lot of us are strong and courageous enough to step up to the plate and fight it out. But how many of us are strong and courageous enough to get back up after getting knocked on our butts. There is one thing that we must grasp in order to be empowered enough to get back up after a failure...and that one thing is God's grace. Let's talk about it.

It's 2022. This year, we are focusing on following God to where He has called us. The road may not be easy, but I believe that if you have faith, you will be able to withstand and conquer any trial. I want this year to be a faith-filled year. No longer will our days be filled with doubt and self-pity. In 2022, we will keep our eyes on the Helper.

God grabbed your hand, and told you to follow Him. Only one problem...He hasn't told you where you're going. Typically, before one begins a journey, he or she knows the destination. Knowing the destination empowers one to persevere through today's trials in hopes of one day reaching the mountaintop. But when God doesn't reveal to you what the destination is, what is supposed to empower you then?

Some of our weakness continue to be a burden on us because God allows them to stay there for a reason...a good reason.
