Cincinnati Bearcats

Coach Molly Alvey and Abby Walker joined Dan Hoard on this episode of the Let's Reign Podcast.

The University of Cincinnati will celebrate the 2008 team that was the first to ever beat Pitt, 28-21, on Nov. 22, 2008. Tony Pike and Dominick Goodman starred in that game and for that team. Tune into this episode with the pair talking with Dan Hoard about that team on UC’s latest Let’s Reign Podcast, the official Podcast of the Bearcats.

On this episode of the Let's Reign Podcast, Dan Hoard got the chance to sit down with Mason Fletcher and Kevin Huber to talk all things punting!

Dan Hoard and several Bearcats peel back the curtain on what training camp is like in the latest edition of the Let’s Reign Podcast - Live from Higher Ground. Hoard interviews head coach Scott Satterfield, quarterbacks Brady Lichtenberg and Brendan Sorsby, cornerbacks coach and special teams coordinator Kerry Coombs, defensive line coach Walt Stewart and defensive lineman Darian Varner preview the 2024 football season from the Higher Ground Conference and Retreat Center in West Harrison, Indiana - where the Cincinnati football team is spending its 26th consecutive fall camp preparing for the season.

On a special BONUS EPISODE of the Let's Reign Podcast, Annette Echikunwoke took a break from training for the Paris Olympics to talk with Dan Hoard about winning the U.S. Title in the hammer throw, her time at Cincinnati, her path to the 2024 Olympic Games and how she juggles working full-time while competing as an elite athlete. In Paris, the 2018 UC graduate will compete in the hammer throw qualifying round on Aug. 4 with the finals set for Aug. 6.

On the latest episode of the Let’s Reign Podcast, Dan Hoard takes listeners “Out to the Ballgame” by interviewing Cincinnati baseball head coach Jordan Bischel and legendary Bearcat and former Major League Baseball all-star Josh Harrison. Bischel talks about his playing career and coaching path that ultimately led him to the Bearcats where he led one of the country’s most impressive turnarounds in 2024. Cincinnati was picked to finish last in the Big 12 last spring, but finished fifth in Bischel’s debut season. Harrison, a Cincinnati native, describes his path to UC and his favorite moments with the Bearcats and in MLB, including his debut with the Pirates, his first all-star game and playing nearly every position in baseball.

On the second episode of the “Let’s Reign Podcast,” Dan Hoard sits down with new football defensive coordinator Tyson Veidt and women’s basketball star Jillian Hayes. Veidt describes growing up in smalltown Ohio and how he went from being a young head coach at the NCAA Division III level to joining Matt Campbell’s staffs at Toledo and Iowa State before ultimately landing his current role on Scott Satterfield’s staff. Hayes talks about her whirlwind trip to Belize for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition photo shoot, why she came back for her final year and growing up in a family full of outstanding athletes.
