Nick Kirby and Craig Sandlin breakdown the news that the Cincinnati Reds have changed their TV plans for 2025:

Cincinnati Reds reverse TV plans for 2025 and will return to FanDuel Sports Network for exclusive broadcasting rights.

The Reds had previously stated that they planed to have MLB broadcast their games which would have put games on MLBtv and have those broadcasts still be available on cable through an upcoming deal. This change will no longer allow fans in-market to watch games on MLBtv.

However, in-market Reds fans will for the first time be able to purchase a standalone streaming option for Reds games through the FanDuel Sports Network app without a cable subscription. Currently, FanDuel Sports Ohio is $19.99 per month with an option for $189.99 for the year.
