In Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, Frank Sheeran (Robert De Niro) is forced to kill his friend Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino) by mob boss Russell Bufalino (Joe Pesci). Hoffa was the president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
In this video, I explain Hoffa's rise as the president of the teamsters, and how he was sent to prison as a result of the testimony of Edward 'Ed' Grady Partin, a teamsters member who recorded evidence of Hoffa and his team performing illegal jury tampering.
Helping me is Craig Vincent, the man who played Ed Partin in The Irishman.
