July 03, 2024 Draft Day (2014) Movie Discussion
**THROWBACK EPISODE**
It is peak offseason for the NFL and Buffalo Bills, so we decided to re-release this episode from a few years ago. In this episode, we discuss the 2014 Movie “Draft Day” featuring Kevin Costner, Jennifer Garner and Chadwick Boseman in what could’ve been an epic, thrilling depiction of the wheeling and dealing, trading, stress and drama of what goes on for a GM or front office in any NFL war room the day of the NFL Draft.
Instead... we have this. We give our thoughts on it overall, in certain scenes, and give our favorite/least favorite parts of the movie. We also read five-star Ratings from Amazon and give a voice to people who actually enjoyed this movie. Let us know your thoughts and if you loved or hated the movie! Listen now and Go Bills!

June 05, 2024 We took the Wonderlic Test
***Throwback Episode***
In this episode, we take the Wonderlic Test, the NFL Equivalent of an IQ test taken each year by hundreds of Draft Prospects at the Scouting Combine. The Wonderlic was originally created in 1936 by E. F. Wonderlic. The Wonderlic Personnel Test was the first short-form cognitive abilities test in the areas of math, vocabulary, and reasoning. It’s a popular group-intelligence test used to assess the aptitude of prospective employees and applicants for learning and problem-solving in a range of occupations. The Wonderlic is available in 12 different languages and is often used in college, entry level jobs, and team-making efforts. It consists of 50 multiple choice questions to be answered in 12 minutes.
We describe the test in detail, take it ourselves, discuss our results afterwards (and which of our scores relate to famous NFL players and occupational median scores), things we would’ve done differently, and if we feel that it’s an accurate assessment of a person’s intelligence or not. We also discuss the Wonderlic Test scores of all of last year’s Quarterback Draft Class: Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen.
Take a sample 50-Question, 12-minute Wonderlic Test here and let us know your results! See if you’re smarter than all three of us before you listen to the podcast. Think you can score a 50? Leave your (truthful, first-time) score in the comments section below.
