Sometimes contrast really is a conscious creator's best friend.

I was reminded of that while observing the dramatically different experiences two friends were having in completely different circumstances.

It just goes to show that like Bashar says, it isn't the circumstances that matter, it's the state of mind we cultivate that makes the difference.
